IKON Transport of Indiana is a 24/7 provider of non-emergency transportation throughout the state for individuals, families, facilities, and care partners. We will do the best we can to accommodate you when you are in need of a ride.
Stretcher Transport
We provide non-emergency stretcher transportation for individuals who cannot remain upright during travel.
This service is mainly used for hospital discharges, transfers between facilities, and appointments that require full physical support. In many markets, stretcher transport is limited. We made the decision to include it in our services from the beginning.
Our vehicles are equipped specifically for non-emergency stretcher loading and secure transport.
Bariatric Transport
We offer bariatric transportation with equipment selected specifically for larger clients and wider mobility devices.
Our vehicles are equipped with wide ramps to accommodate bariatric chairs. Many providers operate with 35- or 36-inch ramps that restrict access. Our ramp width allows larger chairs to enter without any modification. If a client uses their own mobility device, we can often transport it because of that capacity.
This service is important to us. Clients traveling to chemo, dialysis, or specialty care are already dealing with enough. Transportation should not add discomfort or embarrassment.
Long-Distance Transport
In addition to statewide service across Indiana, we can accommodate longer trips, including rides that cross state lines when needed.
We have transported clients to Chicago and other out-of-state destinations for medical treatment and family needs. These trips are arranged in advance to ensure proper scheduling and timing.
Special Events & Outings
Our transportation services are not limited to medical care.

We have transported clients on Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter Sunday, and even to holiday events when families needed assistance. Weekend routes, including Saturday dialysis and Sunday church, are common.
